St. Lucia Sweetie

This young St. Lucian puppy was part of a litter that a local man brought into the CAAT team for help.    The mother had been hit by a car and killed and he discovered the litter under a tree in a field where he kept his horse.   He knew we were there to help and brought the litter to us.    This poor little one had fleas, tick, and maggots but rallied and ate as soon as it was offered.    Helpaws, the local animal welfare organization, offered to take them in and care for them and find them homes.     Thank goodness for the kindness of the man who brought them in and for Helpaws.    All will be well for this pup…
