Day Two – Ahousaht First Nations

Another very successful day on so many levels. Surgery numbers were lower but the opportunities the team had for educational opportunities were many, both with children and adults. The rains of Friday had stopped and it was a gorgeous, sunny day. Eleven spays and neuters were completed and seventeen vaccinations were given. Our veterinarians and several team members were able to go out into the community with the CARE Network members and do some follow up exams on surgery patients from Friday’s clinic, and visit some pets at homes which just need their vaccines boostered. The team worked until 6pm and then packed up all our supplies, ready for departure for home this morning. Another successful clinic.
