From Dr. Rob Spooner in Botswana about one of his patients who needed a little extra attention:

I’m always amazed at the resilience of these dogs. This little girl had an old fracture: “Just happened 3 days ago” although the scar tissue would suggest otherwise.

Spayed her, took the damaged leg off, and 4 hours later she’s chewing down on her first bowl of food. I spoiled her and gave her a second. She’ll do well.

And two days later:

This is today- she’s a tough little girl! And sweet, too.
